recruitment consultancy firm is currently looking to fill this role for
its clients and hereby invite suitable applications from qualified
individuals.
- Preparation of Specifications for design and fabrication Subcontracts.
- Undertakes surveillance and inspection visits to Manufacturers and Subcontractors, on or off site, as required in all aspects of procurement, manufacturing and fabrication.
- Conduct Witness and Hold tests on selected suppliers.
- Document and manage witness and hold program for selected Subcontractor.
- Ensures that the Subcontractor is performing the work in the safest manner and achieving the highest quality.
- Advises the Subcontractor regarding quality performance issues and discusses proposed corrective actions to achieve required results.
- Undertakes the management of non-conformances submitted by Subcontractors, Including provision of close out recommendations for line management approval.
- Ensures that manufacturing activities being performed by the Subcontractor and his sub-suppliers are in accordance with the engineering design requirements and project contract agreements.
- Support the review of manufacturing documentation such as quality plans, quality programmes, technical specifications, welding data package, NDT procedures, etc.
- Communicates with the Subcontractor to ensure information is shared and that agreements are made on methods and practices used.
- Attends Subcontractor site safety and quality meetings and participates in all subject initiatives.
- Interfaces with the other internal departments (including Contracts, Engineering, Planning and QHSES ) to ensure that issues are being addressed with the Subcontractor in the execution of the project.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of Degree
