Job Title: Associate Director C&G and Procurement

Description

• The position holder will provide leadership and management for FHI Nigeria’s programs and projects in procurement and purchasing and grants and contracting, including contracts with consortium partners and agreements with funders and sub agreements management with implementing agencies.
• S/he will advice in the interpretation of funding regulation to ensure that all FHI Nigeria policies and procedures and Federal Government and other Funder procurement and contracting requirements are met for sub-agreement and subcontracting activities.
• The position holder will ensure all documentation and audit trails relating to procurement and contracting matters in FHI, with suppliers, implementing partners and funders is complete and compliant.

Education/Experience:

• B.Sc/B.A and 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience, overseas field experience required; or
• M.Sc/M.A in public health or related field and 7-9 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience, overseas field experience required; or
• PhD/MD or equivalent degree and 5-7 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience, overseas field experience required.
