- Planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the company
- Risk assessment and evaluation and reporting
- Corporate governance involving external risk reporting to stakeholders
- Carrying our processes such as purchasing insurance, implementing health and safety measures and making business continuity plans to limit risks
- Conducting audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors
- Providing support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the company.
Skills and Qualifications
- Good first degree in relevant courses
- Planning and organization skills
- Negotiation skills and the ability to influence people
- Presentation skills
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to understand broad business issues
- Minimum of five years continuous risk management experience in a banking environment.
