Our Client, a regulator in the finance services sector of Nigeria is seeking to recruit candidates into some strategic vacancies in some functional areas as listed
below.
These roles are generally expected to have functional strategy initiation and implementation responsibilities, as well as coaching and mentoring of respective functional teams. Additional details in terms of roles, academic and technical requirements are shown below:
Senior Position
Role Requirements
1. Director, Administration and Human Resources
? Masters Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Public Administration or equivalent from a recognized University
? Candidate must also have a minimum of twenty (20) years cognate experience with at least 5 years in senior management position
? Management consulting experience will be a plus
? Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office application
? Must be a member of relevant local and international Human Resources and Human Capacity
development professional institutions
2. Director, Finance ?
Candidate must possess degree in Economics, Banking & Finance, Accounting, not lower than second class lower division in a relevant discipline.
? He or she must be a qualified accountant.
? In addition, candidate must have a minimum of twenty (20) years cognate experience with at least 5 years in senior management position preferably in the financial services sector.
Have proficiency in the use of Microsoft office application and relevant financial packages.
3. Director , Off Site Supervision
? Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in any of the following disciplines: Economics,
Finance, Insurance, Accounting, Actuarial Science
? S/he must possess relevant professional qualification e.g. ACA, CITN, CIIN, ACCA
? In addition, candidate must have a minimum of twenty (20) years cognate experience with at least 5 years in senior management
position in the financial services sector.
? Experience as a thought-leader as demonstrated through distinguished services in relevant
associations, committees, etc.
? Relevant industry experience is a must, along with knowledge of outstanding global and local

4. Director, Authorization and Policy
? Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in any of the following disciplines: Finance,
Policy and Strategy, Insurance, Accounting, Actuarial Science
? Relevant professional qualification is essential
? Minimum of 20 years relevant post graduate experience of which at least five years should be at a senior level in the financial services sector
? Experience as a thought-leader as demonstrated through associations, committees, etc.
? Relevant industry experience is a must, along with knowledge of international policies and standards.
5. Director, Inspectorate
? Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in finance or the social sciences
? Candidates must also possess relevant professional qualification with recognized local and/or
international professional bodies
? Minimum of 20 years relevant post graduate experience of which senior level in the financial
Services business, and/or working experience with a financial organisation.
? Exceptional analytical and communication skills (both written and oral) and highly developed team leadership and mentoring skills.
? Experience as a thought-leader as demonstrated through associations, committees, etc.
? Relevant industry experience is a must, along with knowledge of outstanding global and local
practices
6. Assistant Director, Legal
? Candidate must possess LLB and BL
? An LLM or MBA will be an added advantage
? Candidate must have fifteen (15) years working experience, five of which should be in senior
management position in a reputable organization
7. Assistant Director, Human Resources
? Candidate must possess a master’s degree in any of the
Social Sciences or Humanities, preferably in Public/Business Administration with
specialization in Human Resource Management, in addition to a good first degree which is not lower than second class lower division in a relevant discipline.
? Have a minimum of fifteen (15) years cognate experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous management experience in human capital development.
? Have proficiency in the use of Microsoft office application
? Professional Membership of CIPMN or other related professional associations is a must.
